Marche helped in creating a more "high-end" color pallet and a higher impact logo.
When the Rock 360 inventor and former NFL player Tommy Saunders contacted us, The product had already been designed and engineered. Tommy was looking for someone who could complete the plastic injection molding and manufacture the product. Marche turned out to be a good fit not only for manufacturing, but also as partner for improving engineering and design solutions.
The product is designed to support the full weight of its users while sliding smoothly on the floor, requirements which provide demanding mechanical challenges. The most challenging aspect of the plastic injection tooling was creating a thick and sturdy ABS plastic roller ball, while maintaining high tolerances so the ball would glide perfectly against the surface of 1200 internal ball bearings. The challenge required numerous changes to the mechanical designs, which we were able to complete through close collaboration with the tooling manufacturer. The end result was a product ready to perform under rigorous abuse.
